Carabella Karstedt’s life gets turned upside down when a disturbed man shows up in her barn determined to use her to get revenge on her husband, Obi. He attacks and kidnaps her, setting up Obi for a murder that hasn’t happened.  Left with severe injuries that make her unable to walk or remember who she is, Carabella has no one to rely on to escape other than herself and a devoted dog that seems as out-of-place as she is.
